Balochistan Government declares All-Out War on Terrorism

In the aftermath of a devastating bombing attack that claimed over 50 innocent lives in Mastung, Balochistan, Caretaker Balochistan Information Minister Jan Achakzai has declared an uncompromising stance against terrorism, stating, “enough is enough.” In this article, we’ll discuss the government’s response, its determination to combat terrorism all over Pakistan, and the support it plans to provide to the victims’ families in the Mastung bombing.

Tragic Incident in Mastung

Balochistan Government declares All-Out War on Terrorism: A suicide bomber targeted a procession celebrating the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on 12 Rabiul Awwal, in Mastung, resulting in the loss of 59 innocent lives, including a police officer, religious leaders, and above all children. As of now, there is no militant group that has claimed responsibility for the attack, leading to suspicions of foreign involvement, particularly Indian intelligence agency RAW.

TTP’s Denial and CTD’s Investigation

Surprisingly, the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) also distanced itself from the tragic incident in a statement. The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has registered a case against unidentified individuals, intensifying the efforts to uncover the culprits behind this heinous act.

Government’s Resolve Against Terrorism

During a press conference in Quetta, Minister Achakzai was asked about the possibility of a grand operation in response to these terrorist attacks. While he refrained from commenting on this matter, he assured journalists that the state would vigorously defend its territory and initiate intelligence-based operations as required.
